The Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition is a national college students subject specific IT technology competition supported by the Employment Guidance Center of the Ministry of Education, organized by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and fully participated by well-known enterprises such as IBM and Baidu. In recent years, this competition has been rated as an A-class competition and gradually recognized by well-known universities and a large number of participants.
On April 13, 2024, our school hosted the ‘15th Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition Individual Competition’ ( a provincial competition in Tianjin)as the competition site of Tianjin Tianshi College. This competition is held simultaneously in 31 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country. 47 students from our school competed on stage with 230,000 athletes from over 1, 900 universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University etc..
Since our college was promoted to undergraduate level in 2008, the School of Information Science and Engineering has been participating in this competition, and has also won the first prize in the provincial competition and achieved good results in participating in the national finals. The number of participants in this competition has reached the highest in history; The improvement of student participation is inseparable from the school's emphasis on professional subject competitions and the hard work of professional guidance teachers, as well as the practice of our school's positioning of cultivating applied and innovative talents.
This competition was carefully organized and arranged by School of Information Science and Engineering, and also received strong support from the school's Academic Affairs Office, cooperative enterprise (Baizhi Education Technology Co., Ltd.), and Network Center etc.. This competition combines professional talent cultivation and curriculum reform, implements the promotion of learning and teaching through competitions, stimulates the enthusiasm of participating teachers and students for preparation and competition, and improves the teaching level of teachers and the enthusiasm of students for professional learning.
