Every young man aspires to achieve self-value and it has been a long-cherished dream in my heart to provide a platform, helping you, the young people, make breakthrough, grow up and approach success.

My personal development has made me keenly aware of the great importance of education. People with talent are a resource for China to achieve rejuvenation and education holds the key to the cultivation of the talents. It is, therefore, necessary for us to ensure a good education in the stage of kindergarten if we want to practice what the ancient people said by Meng Yi Yang Zheng, literally “develop children’s morality at an early age”. Along with the initial success of my health industry, I began to donate money to build elementary and middle schools in my hometown, Cangzhou, in north China’s Hebei province, and even ventured to establish Tianshi College in Tianjin. Following them, over fifty TIENS BO-AI schools were also founded one after another in such places as Xinjiang and Tibet. For me, exploring truth and pursuing excellence in spite of hardships not only means a challenge but also serves as a ceaseless driving force.

Thanks to our two-decade efforts, Tianshi College has been developed into a well-planned institution of higher learning, featuring a sound human environment, modern research facilities, good living conditions and faculty with international academic standards. It offers a gateway to quality higher education for students at home and abroad. Meanwhile, it also represents a highland of the learning of Chinese culture for people of different races around the world, leading to their future careers. To this end, we stand, as firm as the iron lion back in my hometown, to forge ahead with determination for truth and excellence.

Tao Xingzhi, a well-known Chinese educator, once said, “Education is for the public and then the world is for the public.” For all the thorny paths and the tough odds, we keep moving by actively engaging in building a community of shared future for mankind.
